With a powerhouse duo as highly blogged about and as highly acclaimed as any top electro/indie dance band with 100000+ likes on the Hypem, these leaks from Justice’s upcoming album Civilization were inevitable. I must say this album is shaping up to be very 80′s rock influenced (which is not a bad thing). It seems that these tracks are using more traditional instruments, such as, live guitars and drums, rather than your typical Justice electronically sampled synths and drum pad samples.
Some call it too mellow, but I wouldn’t be too quick to frame Justice as this blatantly harsh rock/electronic band, but rather musicians in their own right that are just making music they feel like at that moment. There’s nothing wrong with a electronic band to be using live instruments over electronic samples and beats. Besides, there will be a billion remixers waiting to get their hands on these fresh tracks to melt your face with (ie. Dubstep remixes). Please have an open mind, it just may do you JUSTICE.
