You would think that Tiesto on a Wednesday night would control the crowd turn out right? Wrong, completely wrong. Club Life fans didn’t care what day of the week it was and in turn Tiesto put on an amazing show as a reward.

We’ve been a fan of the DJ/Producer, who is the most notable name in electronic dance music, for a long time now, since early 2000. We love that he can update and tweak his music to be current but still maintain his own sound.

The definition of club life today should be all that was Tiesto at Pacha NYC. Everywhere you were in the club, you were close to Tiesto. Added bonus was that the mesmerizing stage show, even in this smaller venue, still had the impact of a typical Tiesto large arena stage show. You could see him and the the glorious lights from all four floors of madness and if you’re “part of the 1%” for the night, you can be chilling in the lounge area with hot girls dancing in glass showers in your peripheral too.

Tiesto played all of his Club Life songs but what probably melted all the girls’ hearts was when he mixed in songs like INOJ – Love you down, Florence and the Machine’s You’ve got the love, Ellie Goulding’s Lights, and Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain. He also teased a 5 second snippet of Avicci’s Levels.

The sea of fans on the main floor danced in unison shoulder to shoulder facing Tiesto’s lit up stage. The most notable moment on the dance floor had to be Pacha’s super enormous moving fog machine that flooded the dance area from above with a blanket of white fog during the peak of the night and as a song dropped. The sensational music, the flashing LED lights and the thick cold fog over your skin in a sea of hot sweaty dancing people can be described to some as orgasmic.

With the release “CLUB LIFE Volume One Las Vegas”, his monthly residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, the CLUB LIFE WORLD TOUR and “Club Life College Invasion Tour ”, and the highly anticipated launch of CLVB LIFE tees, 2011 is rapping up to be yet another huge year for Tiesto.
